summary

We had a short meeting on Monday, in the meeting time we found we didn’t write some basic model, theory, etc. when we were in internship in these 8 weeks, all of our work was follow these model and theory to analysis, but we forgot to write it in our blog. So this week’s main job was do some basic analysis.
First we made a Customer Journey Canvas, this tool can let us know how our persona use our product or service in her daily life. We also made persona and mood board to let our idea and e-design become easy to understand.
DNA model and experience compass theory was David taught us in the 1.sem, we used these model by looking these pictures, we know very clearly our e-design’s positioning.
Vision, mission, goal, we need to know which goal we want to get, after this, everything we did in this internship time was in order to achieve these objectives.

Vision, mission, goal,SWOT

Vision Using vision can help our restaurant to achieve the goal. It gives an aspiration image of the future that an organization is aiming to accomplish. We developed our own restaurant’s website and design the gourmet apps where people can enjoy and join the healthy sushi world. We are doing our convenient service in order to suit different levels of customer’s life style. Our vision: • To be the leading online sushi restaurant in Denmark. • Providing professional and useful website and apps, achieving reciprocity and mutual benefit Mission Mission defines the purpose of our restaurant. What task is to be done and why it should exist? Our mission aims to satisfy the purpose of the restaurant. To accomplish this, we will take the following steps: • Provide customers with the best service and food. • Satisfying various customers’ demands by low price • Giving old customers’ opportunities to evaluate our food and shared to others. Goal Our goal is to satisfy our customers and help mini sushi restaurant get more profit. Objectives are similar to goals but are being stated in more concrete statements describing what the project is trying to achieve.
SWOT Analysis



Why we use SWOT: SWOT Analysis is a powerful technique for understanding our Strengths and Weaknesses and for looking at the Opportunities and Threats we face in mini sushi restaurant.
Strengths: • Being the pioneer of the online sushi restaurant enhance the good reputation in Denmark, which in turn gives it more creditability from the consumer’s point of view. • Better booking service for customers, achieving reciprocity and mutual benefit • Perfect system operation • Fresh and healthy life concept Weaknesses: • Lack of enough deposit, cannot afford much higher technique cost • Red ocean influence
Opportunities: • Many “ group on company” would like cooperate with mini sushi restaurant • A great chance to improve the reputation in many ways. • Apps of social design would widely our sushi market meanwhile increase the profit • Our social media can attract the potential customers and it more suitable customers’ life.
Threats: • Cultural barriers, anyway, we are not in Asian, not all the people like rice and seafood. • We face competition from other sushi restaurant and fluctuation in the usage or membership due to variation in utility. • The orders are much more than before when we joined the a few group on companies, the employees is not enough. • The position is very important on the first list of website and apps; otherwise, customer would ignore it.

When we improved this Mini Sushi's online business and designed a new mobile apps, we used some model and theory to analiysis it. But we forgot to write these model and theory on the word document, so we wrote it today.

Today Mini Sushi had a very big order: 25 parts menu 2 for 50 person on 12am, we came here early to help them finish their order.

Summary for last week

This week we had some change with our plan, we finished the mobile apps model earlier. In this week first we focused on the SEO, add some key words for the code to our website. SEO is a totally new idea and thing in China. When we talked with the people who made the MiniSushi’s website in China, tried to let them do some change and improved the website in the top place in Search Engine. But it’s hard to communicate and finish, because they didn’t know this SEO. That means we need to find other ways, so we found a Danish professional company to help us improved our website, but the money is a problem, the owner need time to think about this new change.
We also made a video for the mobile apps model, after the feedback, we found this video was not good enough. We will make a new video next week. I know research is very important thing, we need to use it in our internship process all the time.

Too much order

The Sweetdeal discount menu can be ordered from yesterday, it will be very busy in next few days. Today I came to help them do the kitchen job, hard work, nice experience. Wang asked me if i can also help them in the weekend, but i need to stay at home with my girl, he was a little bit unhappy.

Mobile apps video

Ying already made a mobile apps model a few weeks ago. Today we only need to make a video and show the users how to use this apps, and put this video on Facebook and You tube. Ying had fever this afternoon, so she went home early, and I don't know if she can come tomorrow.

After three days, Mini Sushi totally sold 754 discount menu, this discount menu can use in three months, so it was a nice sales

SEO day2

We contacted a professional person today to talk about the Mini Sushi's website: http://www.minisushi.dk/. He said this website has too much problem, if we want to let this website become perfect and do a nice SEO, we must let him take care it, but we need to pay 2000DK every month for his job, even no customers use it we still need to pay. We told Wang about this, he said he know it's a nice choice for the Mini Sushi, but he don't think they have enough money to do this, maybe in the further when this resturant get more business.

SEO

These two days our foucs will be SEO, we need to use some technics to make our Mini Sushi's website in the top place in Search Engine(Google) when customers are using Search Engine to find information about Sushi. Today we contacted the person who made the original code in China, told him which place need to do some changes. But it's still not enough, so we will contact professional person and talk about this SEO tomorrow.
Today the groupon meal was beginning, and continue on three days for selling the deals.

Summary

Summary in this week, we had done the promotion for the website part, first we made a facebook page for this MINI SUSHI restaurant, because it's an popular and fashion way, people always show and ask information by using facebook, we put news, pictures and discount messages on it. It's can enhance the reputation of MINI SUSHI restaurant in a short time, also can take care our coustomer's feedback by check this facebook page.
We also made a new deal with a groupon company: http://www.sweetdeal.dk, we sell our sushi for a very low price, but by the way, more and more coustomers can know our MINI SUSHI, maybe they will order food in the futhure.

feedback from customers

When we checked the feedback from customers, we found out there were already 112 people marked our restaurant on facebook, but no feedback. So after we talked with Wang, we decided to put a note on Mini Sushi, tell our customers we have a facebook pages right now, if they can mark and write some feedback for us, they can get 20% discount from us(tell us their user name).

Negotiation

Today we had an negotiated with a groupon company(http://www.sweetdeal.dk/deal/koebenhavn/seeqonespeeddating). This Mini Sushi already had a cooperation with Sweetdeal in this year March, volume of business was around 300,000Dk, but normally Sweetdeal take 35%, so today we talked with a staff from Sweetdeal , finally reached an agreement, when we cooperate again, they will take lower than 30%, nice achievement!!!

Facebook page

Today we made a facebook page for MINI Sushi, put some pictures and videos on it, but we had a problem to the video, when we put video on facebook, they said they had to remove our video for some reason.

We tried a lot, but still can't put on. So we only can make link to YouTube(which we already put in). We used long time to do the repeated and useless work.

Start to promoting

Today I came to MINI SUSHI a little bit late, because a nurse came to my home to do the normal check for my baby. After this I came to MINI SUSHI, Ying told me what she did last week, to help me follow the process. This week we will start promoting our website, our restaurant's online visibility, our main job is to make a facebook page for MINI SUSHI, and find more groupbuy company to do the cooperation.

summary

This week I didn't come to internship in MINI SUSHI,because my daughter fell down, that's why i need to stay with her at home. Fortunately, Ying and I had a nice team work, in this week Ying did all the job for publicizing a healthy food life style. Like we wrote in our project mangement, our team will get some inside risk for group members's personal reasons, sometime only one person can work. That's why when we designed our internship plan, we tried to make all the time more enough, it can let us still follow the plan.

Accident

Yesterday, my daughter fell down in the nursery, she hindbrain was bleeding, I took her to the hospital, doctor said she need to stay at home these days, so I can not go to internship, before my daughter getting better.

Make video week

In this week my main work was: made some videos, first I needed to ask the director which information they want to show to other people. By used two days, I did the records for this MINI Sushi’s view, their menu, and their normal work status. After the records I chose the photo that I need and did some job to modify these pictures beautiful. When I finished the demo for the video, I asked Wang and all the people in this restaurant, what they thought about the videos, because feedbacks for the users are important. They gave me some nice comments, so I did the change to the video. Follow the design rule, these video couldn’t be very long, 1.5mins-2.5mins could be perfect. These video will be used in next few week’s promoting.
